My involvement in 305 DAY
Becoming the Brand Director for 305 DAY 2022 & 2023 is one of the most exciting achievements of my career so far, not only because it is an amazing community event that ties in the local culture, businesses, music, food, and art but because I'm Miami born and raised.
My role was to make sure that all marketing elements both digital and print were aligned with the brand and the overall 305 DAY event. This brand represents the Miami culture and it was important to stay true to that by keeping everything fun, bold, and vibrant.
I had the pleasure of working on the website, social media graphics, print ads for the newspaper as well as digital ads on billboards, storefronts, and bus stops.

Digital billboard and bus stop shelter ads were strategically placed around the city where there was great exposure to our target audience.
Designing for the right application
Designing a billboard is very different than a flyer or social media post. In order to optimize this I needed to limit the verbiage so that drivers grasp info as they zoom by.

Over the years, the event has evolved into a large-scale block party and small business initiative. Now in 2022, the 9th Annual 305 DAY continues to celebrate our shared 305 pride and the unique quirks that make the Magic City what it is today. 305 DAY aims to unite the community through events, small business promotions, and civic engagement all while celebrating our culture.
In 2020, Armando "Pitbull" Perez, Grammy-Award® Winning International Artist, Entrepreneur, and Mr. 305 himself became a partner in 305 DAY®.
